EDMONTON WARRIORS JUNIOR HOCKEY

The Warriors Athletic Association Junior B Hockey team has a 39 year history in Junior Hockey, since 1972 we have provided 18-21 year old players a place to play hockey, at a competitive level.

Playing for the Warriors will give you an opportunity to play competitive Hockey while still attending school, work or trying to improve your skills to further you hockey aspirations at other levels.

In the past 10 years we have won the league 3 times and have represented the league in provincials 5 times. Over the years we have been a very successful organization, winning league championships, team and individual awards, as well as having numerous players move on to higher levels of hockey out of our program

Last year we finished first overall in the league as a team accomplishment and for individual awards we would like to congratulate the following.

Kelly Fulmer - 1st Team All Star
Kyle Smart - Rookie of the Year

Rookie All-stars - Armando Mazzocca, Mike Rehill, Luke Pavilic

And of course for any success as a team you need quality leaders and we would like to Thank Our Graduating Players for there Leadership and commitment over the years.

Team Staff:

Head Coach - Bobby Almeida- Bobby has been responsible for coaching teams in Germany and Italy over the last 10 years. As well Bobby's background as player is extensive, playing Semi Pro, Western hockey league AJHL and ACAC.

GM - Rick Peterson- Rick has been with the Warriors in just about every role from player to coach, over the last 21 years Rick has coached at all levels along with scouting and recruiting with the AJHL, and the CJHL.

Assistant Coach - Tony Caputo - Tony has been with the Warriors in just about every role, over the last 11 years. He has been involved for over 20 years at all levels along with scouting and recruiting with the AJHL, and the CJHL.
